Barber's Blog: Barber's Blog: Getting started

Well, lets try this again. I have never used the 5E model of lesson planning and I found it challenging to say the least. A good one though. My kids are supposed to take whatever they can find and make slides. Insect parts, fibers,dirt,hair,skin, etc. They were suppose to discover that nature has patterns in it. That evertyting is made out of the same basic stuff yet it configures into different packages ie. patterns. I have not tried it yet. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    What were some of the challenges that you encountered when planning your 5E's lesson? Did you feel that you gained any insights from planning the lesson using this method? Amy

    Just the planning in and of itself, making sure I had incorporated everything was a challenge. I gianed a new way to paln my lessons.
